• Training

  The club runs outings to Dundee and holds off-ice training each week and skaters of all abilities are encouraged to join.

  The club does not offer training or lessons on how to skate. However, if anyone is interested in getting lessons, there are professional skaters at the rink who can give private 1 to 1 lessons.
  The sessions can be as relaxed as you want them to be, we have a variety of levels amongst our skaters, so you can practice skating round slowly, or practice techniques. It’s up to the individual!

• Competition

  We don’t participate in any competitions; we are a non-competitive club. There are however still opportunities at the ice arena to get involved with competitions if you are at an advanced level.

• Additional Club Information

  Socials:
  We aim to have two socials a month, one being sinners and the other one can be anything from a night out, to a potluck, a dinner after skating, we are always looking for new ideas for our socials and are open to suggestions from new or existing members. We also have a fundraising officer who works closely alongside our social rep to raise funds for both charities, and to help reduce the transport costs for the club.

  Whether you are new to the sport or an experienced skater, already attend the University or if you are thinking about attending, please get in touch to register your interest and find out more about our club.

  The University hosts a Sports Fayre at the beginning of each academic year during Orientation Week, giving prospective players the opportunity to talk to club members and sign up to ‘Give It A Go’ sessions.
